Business Summary
We started The West Robotics Club in January of 2005. The purpose was to build a robot to compete in the NASA headed F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition. During the building period of 6 weeks the Team learned and was taught basic engineering, programming, pneumatics/hydrulics, chasis design, hardwireing, public relations, and, most importantly, teamwork. The team is a donor driven program based and run out of Parkway West High School in Ballwin, with the help of the staff, private donors, and most importantly the students. Being a donation based team we are always somewhat underfunded, as such, any help via personnel or monetary help. |
